"Honu" (pronounced "Ho-noo")is the Hawaiian name for the green sea turtle, a revered symbol of sacred life force by the ancient Hawaiian royalty. It was also considered by them to be the mythical mother and protector of all children, as well as a guide and companion to voyagers.

Bring this unique Hawaiian treasure into your home or office with our Honu Hawaiian Indoor Fountain. Each piece is individually hand crafted, so no 2 are exactly alike. We use only the highest quality materials from Hawaii and the South Pacific, including 3 types of rare acacia wood. The bowl is crafted from hand turned kamani wood, while our 2 sea turtles are hand carved from monkey pod. We have also integrated one of Hawaii's most coveted indigenous resources, koa wood, which acts as spacing and support between our hand selected and shaped natural slate. All wood has been properly sealed to resist moisture deterioration.

Each tropical tabletop fountain also includes an adjustable, maintenance-free pump, which is surrounded by beautifully polished natural multi-colored river rocks.  These rocks can also be used as a decorative accent with or in place of your handmade sandstone petroglyph and wooden sea turtles (See pictures). In fact, each decorative piece has been left unattached to allow you to create your own tropical flair.
